About the Program
A two-day intensive trustee training for sheet metal industry trustees. This seminar is appropriate for trustees at any experience level but highly recommended for new trustees as it will cover a wide array of topics that will allow them to do their trustee duties more effectively. Chapter Executives are welcome to attend as well.
The trustees’ training seminar is meant to not only cover the basic fiduciary obligations that every trustee must operate within but also the major knowledge areas that a trustee who is overseeing the running of a benefit funds should know. Taught by industry experts from service providers within the multiemployer benefit world, this seminar will cover financial, regulatory, legal and practical advice for trustees.
Registration Information
Registration fee: $150
The registration fee includes program materials, as well as breakfast and lunch each day. Accommodations are paid separately by attendees upon arrival/check-in at the hotel. To register for the meeting, submit the online registration form with payment no later than October 6, 2023.
*All registration cancellations must be received in writing. If you need to cancel your registration before September 15, 2023, your payment is refundable. For cancellations from September 15 - October 6, 2023, there will be a $75 cancellation fee. If canceled after October 6, 2023, there will be no refund.
Hotel Accommodations
Hotel accommodations are booked for you at the host hotel, DoubleTree by Hilton O'Hare - Rosemont, on a first-come, first-served basis, upon payment of the meeting registration fee. A credit card must be presented at check-in for payment of your room, tax, and incidental charges. The room rate is $179 per night, plus applicable taxes.
